This Green-tailed Towhee's picture was taken today by Ty Ivey.
I had the privilege of seeing this rare bird (for our area) with him and Paul Hoinowski.
There were many White Crowned Sparrows around as well.
I understand this is only the second time this bird has been observed in our area.

This is a really good Ga bird and definitely worth the trip to see. Glad we all got to see it.
