I had a couple of hours to visit Ocmulgee National Monument Friday (ran into Andre, who was also there for a short birding visit). It was a beautiful day, and there was lots of bird activity, including singing! Some highlights included an American Kestrel in the big dead tree at the pond, Wilson's Snipe, Greater Yellowlegs, and the Rusty Blackbirds that have been hanging around near the pond.
